Brethren, please join us at Philo Lodge No. 243 for a Master Mason Degree on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

As we recall when we came through our own Master Mason Degree, seeing Brothers on the sidelines made a tremendous difference. A strong attendance will help make the evening even more meaningful and memorable for our candidate. Please come out and show your support!

Today, Philo Lodge No. 243 F.&A.M. proudly honors the life, service, and legacy of Brother Brian D. Sicknick.

As a United States Capitol Police Officer, Brian answered the call to serve with courage, integrity, and unwavering dedication. His commitment to protecting others reflected the highest ideals of duty, sacrifice, and honor.

Following his passing, Brother Sicknick was posthumously raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason, forever joining the Fraternity whose timeless principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth mirror the values by which he lived.

Today, we remember not only a fallen officer, but a Brother whose legacy reminds us that true greatness is measured by service to others.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with his family, friends, fellow officers, and all who had the privilege of calling him Brother.

“Faithful unto Death.”

May we honor his memory not only with our words, but through our own commitment to integrity, compassion, and service.

Fraternally,
Philo Lodge No. 243 F.&A.M.
