It has been a while since I posted here. Last week was full of appointments in Columbus at Children's. We found out that Bella's bone scan was not great and they fear she could fracture or break a bone just by being lifted from her wheel chair. She will have to start IV meds to help build her bones. This is not great for her kidney or liver but has to be done. We will have one overnight treatment then several out patient treatments. We were also told that we will be getting into the intensive feeding program this summer. I hope the winter is mild this year so we will be able to make this program. Please continue to pray for Bella as we wait for stem cell. I have talked to a couple parents who children started to have seizures after treatment so it just makes me worry more about going forward with it.

Filled out the paperwork so the clinic in CA can get Bella's medical records. Please pray this is the answer to our prayers.

We stopped trying to raise money for stem cell after we had problems with the clinic in NV. They were concerned they could not get enough stem cells from Bella to get the count up enough to make a difference. In the past year Dr. Steenblock (who we did not know) has made extreme advances in stem cell in CA. I am scheduled to have a phone conference with Dr. Steenblock after he has had a chance to review the ton of medical records we have sent. They offer bone marrow stem cell among other types of treatment. He is going to decide which course of action is the best for Bella at this time. Because of her size and weight issues it is hard to get the count up so we are exploring all options. The cost is going to be around 13,000 which is less than half of going to Mexico to have treatment. We saved the money from Bella's Benefit and have about 5,000 or a little over once it is it pooled. I don't want to wait on this treatment so we will be looking into just getting a bank loan for the other money. I do have lots of cook books let and will sale them along with other things. IF anyone has any ideas just let me know!

This is the place we will be taking Bella. When the place in Los Vegas wanted to wait or make us make several trips to NV due to her weight issues and getting the amount of cells to make a difference, we decided to just leave her money in the bank and pray for something better. I think this is finally it. Thank you Lord!
