Seeing women take up space (literally) is what we’re all about 🚀👩🏼‍🚀🌑

Both of our mentoring FRC teams The Riot Crew and The Northern Force have made it to the playoffs at UNH! They’re facing off against each other in their first playoff round…so while our hearts are split, our cheers are twice as loud 🎉

Good luck to both teams — we’re cheering you on from the Coliseum! 🖤🩷

Our Ladybugs spent Saturday at the 2026 FRC Pine Tree District Event, giving a demo of our robot and getting a front-row seat to the 'big leagues' of robotics.

A huge thank you to our newfound friends, Blue Potato Lobsters FTC 21616, for sharing your space with us for the day! We loved every minute of showcasing the girls' hard work and technical skills throughout our season (and of course, collecting all the pins our sweatshirts could handle).

After seeing all the cool robots in FRC, we’re feeling extra inspired! 🤖🐞

Our STEM Coliseum FTC team competed this weekend and earned the Think Award! This award recognizes strong engineering process, problem-solving, and the work behind the robot—design, documentation, and iteration.

We had a blast at the Maine Engineering Expo! 🛠️

Between introducing Becca to inquisitive new friends and chatting with the Society of Women Engineers - SWE, our team stayed busy sharing our passion for robotics and women in STEM.

Huge thanks to the STEM Coliseum sharing their space with us! We loved getting to show off our hard work and see so much amazing engineering in one room.

Outreach season is officially in swing, keep an eye out for more events to catch us at 👀

Numbers and rankings only tell half the story. To see the real magic of this season, you have to look at the documentation.

Our girls poured their hearts into this portfolio to ensure every design choice was backed by data and detail. It is a masterclass in rookie engineering! We are incredibly proud of their dedication to the 'paperwork' side of STEM.

A Proud Rookie Season Debut! 🤖

Yesterday was a whirlwind for our rookie FTC team! While the rankings didn't show it, we walked away with something better than an award: proof of concept.

Going into our first year, we set some "hopes and dreams" goals. We wanted to sort game elements, shoot from the furthest spot on the field, and master AprilTag autonomous shooting. Yesterday, the girls hit those goals with consistency and precision - all major feats for a rookie team!

They proved they can build a robot that does exactly what it’s designed to do and document it down to the nuts and bolts. In the professional world, that level of documentation is what separates great thinkers from master engineers. We are so proud of the grit and technical skill these girls showed.

Don’t worry—we’re just getting started! We have big plans for off-season outreach, education, and fundraising so we can come back even stronger and brighter next year.

Go Ladybugs! 🐞
