Hello, Portland area friends,

We ( Making it Home ️) are in need of the following:

Mini-fridge
Plastic adult-size coat hangers
Bed sheets : twin, full & queen
( fitted bottom, flat top and pillow cases,
If you have them). Gently-used is fine.
Freshly-washed much appreciated.
Blankets & comforters: twin, full, queen.

Pick up is possible!

Exciting news: We now have warehouse space …finally!!! But we could use some help to “spiff it up”. Anyone have a paint sprayer they’d be willing to loan us…or better yet, would be willing to come spray out some shelving?? Space is on Thadeus St in South Portland.

They take items that folks no longer need and use them to help new immigrants and previously unhoused individuals get set up with basic household needs. I've seen their labors of love in action over the years, and they are truly making a difference and changing lives. After years of service, they have just become an official nonprofit agency. If you would like to volunteer, donate (monetarily or with household goods), or would just like to help spread the word, I highly recommend them!”
