The weather outside is frightful!

Unfortunately the tree lot is very slippery. As a result we feel we must for the day to prevent any customer injuries.

The SP CE Rotary chorus couldn’t resist creating another singalong—this time with Frosty the Snowman! ⛄🎶 Special thanks to the amazing students for helping out at the tree lot and adding their own special charisma to this song.

Today, between helping customers and selling Christmas trees, we hit pause just long enough to team up and make this Let It Snow music video ❄️🎄

It’s our fun way of commemorating the 2025 tree sale—and the best part? There are LOTS of beautiful trees still available to decorate homes and businesses.

Come grab your perfect tree and be part of the Rotary Club of South Portland - Cape Elizabeth magic!

Thank You!

🌸 Why Do Local Sponsors Matter to SpringFest? 🌸

Because this is what happens when a community shows up.

Thanks to generous support from local sponsors, SpringFest is a powerful engine for good. Sponsorships pay for the cost of staging SpringFest, and every dollar raised beyond those expenses goes to support local organizations doing life-changing work.

Through the Rotary Club of South Portland-Cape Elizabeth, SpringFest sponsorships support causes including addressing food security, community building, older adult projects, youth services, behavioral health, veteran needs, safe and stable housing, and community service. These services span programs such as helping to provide nutritious meals for kids, supporting students with mental health challenges, funding emergency support for homeless teens, contributing to global outreach through Rotary International, and many, many more areas and types of services.

🌟 Sponsors, when you support SpringFest, you make all this possible. You're not just funding an event; you're investing in real change right where we live. That's something every employee and every customer celebrates.

This year's sponsor roster features familiar names and logos, decades-long Rotary partners in some cases, and plenty of new names. We ask everyone to get to know and support these local brands and organizations. Learn more about all the sponsors at www.spspringfest.com.

We invite everyone to enjoy every moment Friday and Saturday, May 16-17, and remember that SpringFest's impact lasts all year. Thank you again to all of our sponsors. You are the heart of this festival and the soul of our community.

At last night Club assembly Tom Meyers mentioned this NY Times piece. It’s about Gnomes, of course. And it’s well timed for SpringFest.

Todays Top News: SpringFest Gnomes Poised to Overtake Masters Tournament Gnomes in Garden Collectible Rankings

While The Masters gnomes swing clubs and rake in $10K on eBay, our SpringFest gnomes are out here hosting co****le tournaments, queuing up food trucks, and dodging ducklings in Mill Creek Park, and spreading joy for FREE.

Yes, Augusta National has peach ice cream sandwiches. But do their gnomes rally an entire community for a weekend of fun? We think not.

SpringFest gnomes: less golf, more glee. Collectible? Maybe. Adorable? Absolutely. Going viral? Just give it time.

May 16–17. Mill Creek Park. Gnome sweet gnome.
