Since Saturday has been a wash-out (making it difficult to drop off your calendar slips at a Snack Shack...) we are extending the deadline for calendar raffle sales by a week!

You can now drop off your envelope at a Snack Shack at our Pine Street or Wilkinson fields as late as Saturday, June 6th (when it definitely, absolutely, assuredly, unequivocally will NOT rain). We'll draw the winners for June 1-6 retroactively.

Please be sure your envelope has your player's name and team on it, with the completed paper slips and accompanying cash, if any.

Players can win SPLL prizes, too. Selling 10 calendars earns them a gift card for our snack shacks (which can be used next season, yes). Selling 25 calendars also earns them a t-shirt. Selling 40 calendars also earns them a hoodie, and selling 50 calendars also earns them $50!

📸 McKenney Photography will do a MAKE-UP PICTURE DAY at Wilkinson Park on THURSDAY from 4 to 5 pm for players who were unable to take their photos last Saturday.

Separately, you can always schedule a make-up directly with McKenney Photography at a time that works for you at their Biddeford studio.

⚾ Registration for the 2026 season of Juniors baseball will close soon! ⚾

Juniors is a fairly casual division for 13- and 14-year-old boys and girls. Home games are played at Wainwright, where we can use a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Road games are played around Cumberland County.

The season starts in late June and concludes at the end of July. We understand that families have vacations in the summer. We carry a larger roster for this reason so don’t let a planned vacation stop you!

🚨 Because of the rain, unfortunately Monday's South Portland Memorial Day parade has been canceled. 🚨

Thank you to the Little League families who were planning to come out to honor the memory of those who gave their lives in the service of our country.

SPLL will march in South Portland's Memorial Day Parade again on Monday. The whole league is invited to join us. We'll meet at 10 am at SMCC's parking lot, and conclude a little after 11 am with a group photo at Mahoney. Kids will be given candy to hand out to parade-goers. Players should wear their jerseys and caps! Softball and baseball players marching with the Middle School Band are also welcome to wear their jerseys!
