This Saturday, our Secret Supper hosts open their homes to our community, and today ChappyWrap helped us thank them. Each host received a blanket from ChappyWrap's gorgeous new fall line. We're so grateful! Here's to cozy tables, good company, and supporting CEEF together.

We’ve saved one very important secret for last…
A tremendous thank-you to Napolitano’s Painting, our TOP SECRET sponsor of the 2026 CEEF Secret Supper.

We are incredibly grateful to Napolitano’s Painting for stepping up in such a big way and helping make this year’s Secret Supper unforgettable.

Some support deserves to be kept TOP SECRET. This support deserves to be shouted from the rooftops.

Some secrets are just too good to keep… especially when it comes to saying thank you.
We are incredibly grateful to Jonathan Bush & Faye Rotenberg Bush, Maine Community Bank, and Northland Enterprises, our SECRET KEEPERS for this year’s Secret Supper.
Their generous support helps make this one-of-a-kind evening possible—from the anticipation and mystery to the incredible gatherings happening around Cape Elizabeth, all in support of CEEF grants for our students and educators.
Thank you to our Secret Keepers for believing in CEEF, investing in our schools, and helping us make a little magic on October 3. We couldn’t keep this secret without you!

Do you know what a risograph printer is? Neither did we!

Last spring, CEHS art teacher Roz Gross brought CEEF a grant request to purchase one for her classroom, and we’re so glad she did.
A risograph is a bit like a cross between a photocopier and a screen printer: it prints one bold color at a time using soy-based inks, and artists layer those colors to create vibrant, textured prints with a handmade feel. CEHS is now the only high school in Maine with one!
Students are just getting started, and their first project is a great one. Each student picked a single letter from their name and began experimenting with all the ways that letter could become a piece of art. The results so far are playful, colorful, and totally unique.
We can’t wait to see what they create next. Thank you, Roz, for bringing this idea to CEEF, and thank you to our donors who make grants like this possible!

☕🍩 That’s a wrap on Coffee & Donuts!
This morning at CEHS was our final stop of the season, visiting teachers in each of our schools to talk about grant ideas over coffee and donuts. Thank you to every educator who stopped by!

We know applying for a grant can feel intimidating. And we never take for granted that the teachers who dream up these projects are giving even more of their limited time and energy to bring them to us. That’s why we want the process to feel accessible and achievable, and why our Grant Chair put together a step-by-step look at a full CEEF grant cycle.

Swipe through to take a peek 👉 and for the full posters and process, visit our website, ceef.us.

📝 1. The Application: It starts with a great idea. Browse recent CEEF grants for inspiration, talk with your principal early, and know that your proposal doesn’t need to be polished to start.
🎤 2. The Presentation: Ten minutes to share your idea, ten minutes of conversation, and you’ll hear back quickly. A simple slide deck or printed photos are plenty. We want to understand your idea, not test you on it.
🚀 3. Approval & Implementation: Now the fun begins! Launch your project, snap photos along the way, and save student work and notes for your reflection later.
🎉 4. Acknowledgment & Reflection: Share what your project made possible and help us celebrate it with the whole community.

No question is too small. Reach out to [email protected].
We can’t wait to hear your ideas.💡

A little gratitude before we reveal any more secrets...
This year's Secret Supper wouldn't be possible without the incredible people who have opened their homes, tables, and unique spaces to welcome our guests.
We wish we could tell you who they are.
Actually... we could.
But that would ruin the fun.
To all of our generous Secret Supper hosts: thank you for helping create an unforgettable evening in support of Cape Elizabeth students and educators.
Your guests may not know where they're going just yet, but trust us — they're in for something special.
Join us October 3rd: Get your tickets today!
