2021 Casco Bay Summertime Parade of Lights South Portland Lion’s Club and “Toys for Tots” in participating in a lighted boat parade on Casco Bay on August 7, 2021.

The boating community of Casco Bay has partnered with the South Portland Lion’s Club and “Toys for Tots” in participating in a lighted boat parade on the date of August 7, 2021. The mission of the Parade is to stimulate boating activity on Casco Bay by spending creative time decorating our boats and showing them off to each other and spectators alike in the name of helping others who are less fort

unate. There is an entry fee to participate in this sea side extravaganza of minimally two unwrapped toys per boat. If you are able to carry multiple passengers on your vessel, the more toys are encouraged. The toys will be collected to benefit the charitable organization of "Toys for Tots”. All toys collected will remain local and benefit families within our communities. Toys For Tots
The mission of the “Toys for Tots” program "is to collect new, unwrapped toys each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted."

Fellow Boaters, Participants, and Supporters,
On behalf of the south Portland Lion's Club and Southern Maine "Toys for Tots" I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation and express my gratitude for your support of the 2021 Casco Bay Summertime Parade of Lights.
This event was held on August 7, 2021. Upwards to 24 boats participated by dressing their vessels up in bright lights and assorted decorations. Spectators lined the shoreline in areas such as Bug Light Park, Maine State Pier and various marinas along the Parade route.
In this events 8-year history, it has had over 120 boats participate, collected over 722 toys and raised over $9975 for the "Toys for Tots" Organization.
This is a fundraiser the without your help would not have been possible. The 2021 Casco Bay Summertime Parade of Lights collected over 50 toys and raised $2,615 that will be utilized to purchase toys for children at Christmas time.
All proceeds raised by this event are distributed by Toys for Tots Coordinator Carol Lombard and her Team in the month of December. Toys are distributed to family's here in the state of Maine that are the most deserving of this opportunity.
In conclusion, on behalf of the South Portland Lion's Club and "Toys for Tots", I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the generosity of your support.

Our raffle raised $1065 for "Toys for Tots". Great work gang!!!!

The 2021 Summertime Parade of Lights would like to extend a tremendous thank you to the "Team" at the Portland Harbor Master's Office. This crew has been on board since this events inception and goes above and beyond in ensuring a safe and enjoyable night for all of us who participate.

The 50/50 Raffle is growing daily. The Parade of Lights is fast approaching. The weather looks perfect....
I would like to announce that ALL RAFFLE PRIZES will be drawn prior to the beginning of the parade so its important, if you want tickets to get them ahead of time.
Friday I will be dockside decorating "Committed II", so if anyone has questions, wants to purchase tickets or has toys to drop off please reach out.

Proceed: Skirting Bug Light Park proceed inside of the G “5” Fl G 4s
Proceed: Cross the Fore River to the Portland side of the Fore River to Fore Points Marina.
Proceed: Skirt the Portland side of the Fore River in view of Ocean Gate Terminal, State Pier, Luke’s Lobster and Dimillo’s Marina to Vessel Services.
Proceed: Cross the Fore River to South Portland and proceed along the South Portland side of the Fore River, skirting the mooring field of Centerboard Yacht Club, Aspasia Marina and Sunset Marina.
Proceed: Again; Cross the Fore River to Portland and proceed along the Portland side of the Fore River from State Pier, Luke’s Lobster and Dimillo’s Marina to Vessel Services.
Ending: Upon arriving in the vicinity of the Maine State Pier after
completing the second tour of the Fore River the Parade will conclude with vessels returning to their points of origin.
