Fellow Boaters, Participants, and Supporters,
On behalf of the south Portland Lion's Club and Southern Maine "Toys for Tots" I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation and express my gratitude for your support of the 2023 Casco Bay Summertime Parade of Lights.
This event was held on August 5, 2023. Seventeen (17) boats participated by dressing their vessels up in bright lights and assorted decorations. Spectators lined the shoreline in areas such as Bug Light Park, Maine State Pier, and various marinas along the Parade route.
In this event’s 10-year history, it has had over 160 boats participate, collected over 1100 toys and raised over $16,400 for the "Toys for Tots" Organization.
This is a fundraiser the without your help would not have been possible. The 2023 Casco Bay Summertime Parade of Lights collected over 107 toys and raised $3,300 that will be utilized to purchase toys for children at Christmas time.
All proceeds raised by this event are distributed by Toys for Tots Coordinator Carol Lombard and her Team in the month of December. Toys are distributed to family's here in the state of Maine that are the most deserving of this opportunity.
In conclusion, on behalf of the South Portland Lion's Club and "Toys for Tots", I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the generosity of your support.

I would like to extended a tremendous thank you to Webber Cushing, the entire crew at Port Harbor Marine and the Miss Maine Organization. Having Miss Maine on board during this year's Parade was an honor. This was a last minute opportunity and we were very excited it all came together.

A huge congratulations goes out to our 2023 Parade of Lights 50/50 raffle winner Kimberly!!!!! This year's prize winner took home $1,642. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
Kimberly made an extremely generous donation back to Toys for Tots that pushed this year's event over the top!!!

On behalf of the South Portland Lion's Club and Toys for Tots, I would like to thank everyone who supported this event. This would not have been possible without the community sponsors, parade participants, supporters and spectators. This would not have been possible without the collective efforts of all who believed in the cause. We did tremendous work and made a difference in the lives of people who need it the most.
In the next few days when the totals come in they will be posted and raffle winners will be notified.
