Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Established in 1983 to serve Lawrence County, Ohio business and industry.

Established in 1983 to serve Lawrence County, Ohio business and industry, the Greater Lawrence County Area Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) plays a major role in representing the interest of the membership. An extensive communication network had been developed to keep open lines of communication with all branches of local, state, and federal government. Active Chamber committees, led by knowledgeable volunteers assure that Lawrence County’s position on issues related to legislation, transportation, natural resources, education and economic development are addressed in a proactive manner. Thus, Lawrence Countians have a voice in actions that affect their present, as well as the future. When important issues arise, Lawrence County is prepared to represent the best interests of the areas employers and the workforce in a timely fashion.

Something good is coming… and we can feel it in our bones. 😉

Last year, we brought three Chambers and three states together for the very first Meet Up Tri-State — and judging by this reel, we had a pretty good time doing it!

Now we’re doing it again, and this year Ashland gets to host!

Join the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, Northeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce as we bring businesses and professionals from across Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia together for an evening of connections, conversation, food, cocktails and FUN.

Last Friday, the rain stopped just in time for a ribbon cutting!✂️❤️

We were happy to celebrate with Necco Foster Care - South Point as they opened the doors to their new South Point office and celebrated 30 years of building families!

A great crowd, a beautiful new space and lots of excitement for what’s ahead.

Congratulations to the entire Necco team! We are proud to have you as part of our Chamber family and excited to see this next chapter unfold right here in Lawrence County.

What a great day in South Point! 🎉

Today we celebrated the official ribbon cutting of Desco Federal Credit Union new South Point location, and the community showed up to give them a warm welcome!

Lee McClurg opened the celebration with an invocation, followed by remarks from South Point Mayor Jeff Gaskin, DESCO President & CEO Jeff Lyons, and Branch Manager Sarah Chinn.

One thing shared today really stood out…keeping it local. All four employees at the new branch are from Lawrence County and the surrounding South Point area, with Sarah being a lifelong South Point resident. There’s something pretty special about walking into a local branch and being greeted by people who don’t just work in the community but they’re part of it.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the DESCO team and celebrate another investment in our community.

Congratulations to Sarah and the entire DESCO team, and welcome to South Point! We’re excited to have you here and look forward to watching you grow! 🎉✂️
