We are absolutely drowning in vet bills š«
Itās by far our biggest expense. Just a basic exam with vaccines and preventatives costs hundreds of dollars per animal, and we soley use the lowest cost vet clinic around.
In order for us to adopt out or transfer dogs to other rescues, we must provide vetting first. Thereās no way around it. So, until we provide this, we cannot make any room for more intakes.
This is the bill from just today and one dog. Heās getting ready to be adopted soon, but weāll have an additional bill of his neuter before that happens.
Please help us continue to save animals in Lincoln County. Donations have been slow the past month and we have spent thousands on vet bills alone. We literally cannot function without the continued support of the community. We hate to always be asking for money, but donations are all we have right now. Hopefully soon, we will be awarded some funds for grants we are applying for, but until then your donations are the only thing keeping us going. ā¤ļø
