🚨🚨🚨 A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR KIDS AND PEOPLE OF ALL AGES TO LEARN ABOUT ALL ASPECTS OF HARNESS RACING 🚨🚨🚨

The Southern Tier Harness Horsemen’s Association (STHHA) is proud to announce it will host the Harness Horse Youth Foundation (HHYF) One-Day Harness Racing Camp on July 28, 2026, at Tioga Downs Casino Resort.

The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to youth interested in learning more about Standardbred racing and the harness racing industry.

The one-day educational camp is designed to introduce young participants to the exciting world of harness racing. Attendees will receive hands-on instruction and interactive experiences covering topics such as:

1. Basic horse care and safety
2. Harness and equipment education
3. Introduction to driving techniques
4. Understanding racing operations
5. Industry career opportunities

Camp participants will work directly with experienced horsemen and industry professionals, providing a unique behind-the-scenes look at the sport.

Registration is $50 per child, which includes all educational materials and hands-on activities for the day. Space may be limited, and early registration is encouraged.

A great turn out for the Easter event. A record number of eggs were filled and the kids baskets were overflowing with goodies. Nicole, Chris, and Emma did an amazing job of organizing and setting up, and filling all of those eggs. Rhonda was an amazing Easter Bunny. The photo props were a hit that Lori and Tim set up. Great helpers Renee, Brendon, Patty M, Patty C, and Jackie helped make everything run smoothly. Great things are happening with Plymouth Youth with our new leadership. Thanks a bunch because this is what our kids will remember ❤️

Good afternoon I know people have been asking if we need anything for the Easter Egg Hunt. I think the only thing we are lacking is candy and fillers for the Easter eggs.
If anyone wants to donate items and or your time please let me know!
We cant wait to see you all next Sunday!!

We are planning to have a youth committee meeting on Tuesday March 3rd at 6pm at the town hall.
