It was a pleasure meeting the Tauriello family yesterday. Was able to raise $1000 for DawnMarie and Shawn but this is only the beginning. This family needs a lot of help and the Tri for Life Foundation is to do what they can to help. Contact me if you would like to help!

What TGIFridays's has done is terrible but they will learn from their mistakes and move on from this. We also can't forget that this franchise has been a cornerstone in growing the Tri for Life Foundation cause. Already, they have helped multiple families and multiple causes in a short time period just with this foundation alone.

Please help out this family who is suffering. DawnMaire, mother of two is taking care of her one son, who is a Child Stroke Survivor and now, suffers from Chronic hypertension. She is running out of options and needs your help! She lost her home in Hurricane Irene and has been moving around and going from job to job to support her two sons. Thank you to everyone that came out last night to the TGIFriday's Bar Comp in North Brunswick, NJ. It was a great time and excellent job by all of the bartenders who competed for the Super Regionals! Great job as always by Sal Gullace, Angelica Cascone, and the entire Friday's staff for all of their hard work. The Tri for Life Foundation is humbled by your work and generousity.

Pretty pumped I broke 5 hours in this past weekend's 1/2 ironman (4:59:57 to be exact), but I have still have a lot of work to do if I want to qualify for the World Championship in Vegas. Swim could be better, transitions are weak, and even though biking and running are my strengths, improvement is still needed.

As admirable and awe-inspring it is to witness everyone pull together after the Terror in Boston, we have to stop coming to together as one only after tragedy. We are so much better than this. We have to act as one more often and consistently. Then, at that point, we can start leading to peace with ourselves and the world around us.
