Our online auction to benefit our 3 local Interact Clubs is here at last! Due to unexpected technical difficulties, we are posting these items much later than originally planned. Therefore, we are extending the bidding deadline until Monday, February 23 @ 5pm CST. Our auction items were on display at the Interact Showcase last night, and several bids have already been placed. The prices displayed with each item are the current bid as of posting. Bids will be accepted in whole dollar amounts only. ALL monies raised will be divided equally between the 3 High School Interact Clubs at MCHS, WHS, and SPHS. Please bid with your name and phone number, and the winners will be contacted on Tuesday. Our Interactors absolutely shined at the Showcase of Service last night! Students from MCHS, SPHS and WHS delivered an inspiring program full of leadership stories, service highlights, and the kind of fellowship that makes Interact so special. Alumni returned to share how Interact continues to shape their lives, and the Princess Theater was filled with families, educators, and community members cheering them on.

The South Pittsburg Rotary Club is proud to support these young leaders, including contributing $500 to each Interact Club to help them attend the Interact District Conference in March. You can still join us in supporting their trip! The silent auction is open on our page until Feb. 22 at 5 PM. Every bid helps our students grow, lead, and serve. (The auction will be live shortly)

These Interactors are building something special for our community, and last night proved just how bright their future is!

Please join us TONIGHT at 6pm at the Princess Theatre for our Interact Club Showcase of Service! We will also be hosting a silent auction of donated baskets and goodies - come on by and place your bids! The auction will continue here on our page after tonight and end this Sunday at 5pm. All monies raised will go to our three Interact Clubs! See you tonight!

On Thursday, February 19 at 6:00 PM CT, the Interact Clubs of South Pittsburg, Marion County, and Whitwell High Schools will come together at The Princess Theater for a special evening: the Interact Clubs Showcase of Service. Admission is free, and open to all! Let’s fill the theater with Rotary pride and community spirit. Bring your spouse, your neighbor, your friends and colleagues to support these young people as they share their "Service Above Self" with the community! There will also be a silent auction of donated gift baskets during the evening - all proceeds will go directly to the 3 Interact Clubs. We look forward to seeing you there!

It's Boston Butt time - order deadline is tomorrow by 12pm! Every February, members of the South Pittsburg Rotary Club spend 3 days prepping, smoking and delivering delicious Boston Butts just in time for the Superbowl. This venture is just one of the many fundraisers that helps the club support multiple community causes including Sleep in Heavenly Peace, the Marion County Children's Fund, MARC, annual college scholarships for local seniors, disaster relief contributions, amongst others. If you'd like to purchase a butt, please get in touch with any South Pittsburg Rotarian. The cost per 7-9 lb butt will be $40 and pickup will be at Moss Motor Company on February 7 between the hours of 9am - 1pm. Thank you!

A big thank you to Rotarian,Jacquie Menzies Jenkins, for representing our club at the Marion County Chamber Santa Cause event! Several folks showed interest in joining our club, especially after Jacquie recited the Four-Way test without peeking!
