This spring, The National Cornbread Festival (NCF) will celebrate its 26th anniversary! The Festival is held in downtown South Pittsburg, Tennessee, a historic town nestled between the Cumberland Plateau and the Tennessee River in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley. South Pittsburg is located just two miles south of I-24, 30 miles west of Chattanooga. The Festival will begin Friday evening, April 29t

h and end Sunday evening, April 30th. You must be available to unload/set up on Friday, April 28th during your designated time. The Festival will host a cornbread cook-off, entertainment, food, arts, crafts, and a carnival. The festivities will begin Friday night with a street dance and fireworks. Food vendors will be open. Arts and Crafts vendors may also be open if they wish. The week preceding the festival, the Carnival comes to town! See more at: http://www.nationalcornbread.com/events/carnival.html

Hi Arts and Crafts friends! As most of you know, our application process has been closed for quite some time. Unfortunately, there is an impostor who is reaching out to arts and crafts vendors (pretending to be the NCF). They are very convincing, and they are stating that we have a couple of spots that have opened up that need to be filled. They are asking for payment thru Zelle or PayPal. Sadly, a few folks have sent them money they will likely never see, again.

This is one of many reasons we use a verified service, Zapplication, for our application and payment process. Please let any of your arts and crafts friends know that this is not NCF so they can avoid this scam.

The National Cornbread Festival wants to give a hardy THANK YOU to South Pittsburg Elementary School for working the gates of the 2023 festival. It takes a small very coordinated army to put on the festival and they are an important part of it. This $8,234.40 donation is based on the number of festival attendees. The money is divided equally among the teachers to purchase extra supplies and material for their classrooms for benefit each student.
