Let me be clear about why the Food bank closed. I had to decide to shut the food pantry down because my daughter had a serious medical condition that required multiple trips to Mayo’s. Shortly after that my sister and mother were both diagnosed with cancer. Because of this I knew I didn’t have the time to put towards getting funding/grants to keep it operational. So to the old Mayor Huse… you don’t know… and do NOT EVER contact my daughter and quit speaking about things you DO NOT know or understand. My sister lost her fight and my mother has had set backs, but right now her scans are clean. My daughter and I had discussed opening it back up and she was reaching out to get help to do this. He called her and ranted about stuff that was not true. This is a member of the St Lutheran Church on Townline that was talking to a child who wants to help people in a rude manner.
