Voices of Hope

Voices of Hope Voices of Hope’s mission is to change our culture one voice at a time. This page is dedicated to changing the way society views r**e culture. EVER.

Mission: To change the way our culture views sexual violence through education and experience, and to spark a conversation that will prevent sexual violence from occurring. Vision: Voices of Hope aims to create awareness about r**e culture from the survivors of sexual violence, their family and friends, along with helping survivors who may be afraid to speak up, and building one's knowledge on pre

venting r**e through education and awareness. So many victims are forced to be silent due to the way the majority of people see/treat them. So many people blame the victim, and we must learn it is never the victim's fault. The goal of this page and the blog, first and foremost, is to have my friends and family contribute and share their thoughts about my experience and to personally reply to their responses. Voices of Hope also aims to share sexual assault/r**e/sexual violence news, r**e culture news, statistics, and ways to get help. We are also really hoping to start a conversation about sexual assault and r**e in order to not only help silent victims know that they are not alone, but to also create a movement which aims to change r**e culture.

Sometimes you need to step back and breathe.....

Easier said than done, right?

But it is officially time for me to step back and take a breather with Voices of Hope.

Voices of Hope has been absolutely incredible to me in these last 6 years. 6 YEARS! It is crazy it has been that long!
But it has been an awesome and wild ride. I have been able to progress in my healing with through Voices of Hope. I also have been able to connect with some amazing individuals that I would have not have met without Voices.

I am so grateful for all the beautiful things Voices of Hope has brought to me and to so many other people.

But I realized last year, I burnt myself out. Once COVID hit, I kicked everything up a notch. Maybe a couple notches because I thought I could handle it. However, besides Voices, I have a loving Family, a full time job, awesome friends, and myself to love and spend time with.

I broke, and I knew I needed some rest time to focus on everyone and everything else.

I had some things that I wanted to do before my break, which included releasing "Unveil your Voice" the book, which I am so proud of. But now it is officially time for my break.

I plan to take off from now until the end of summer and use this to focus on my Family, Faith, and some self-love for myself. This will truly give me the time I need to refocus, so that I can come back recharged and ready to go.

Though, we might not be too active on social media in the next few months, please know, we will be checking on occasion, so do not hesitate to reach out to via our DM's.

While we take this time for us, I want you to know that no matter what, we love you, we support you, and we believe you. No Matter What.

And remember to take time for you. Something that that took me a long time to figure out, but you need it.

So step back and take a breather.
