Celebrating the History Behind LKT!🎣😄

Part of what has made the Ladies Kingfish Tournament so special over the past 45 years is the community behind it and the many people who have contributed their time, talent, and creativity along the way.

So, when it came time to create this year’s merchandise, we wanted to celebrate that history. We looked back through years of LKT archives, past designs, and artwork to pull together a fun retro look that brought a little bit of the tournament’s past into its 45th year.

One of the designs we revisited was original artwork created by Dinah Bowman for LKT in 2013. Her work became part of the inspiration behind this year’s design.

Bringing this year’s look together was a collaborative effort, and we’re grateful to Dinah for her original contribution and to the many artists and creatives whose work has helped shape LKT throughout the years.

LKT Anglers, We Need Your Help! 👀🎣

A past Ladies Kingfish Tournament offshore division winner recently shared this old LKT trophy with us, but after years of memories, the date is no longer visible.

That’s where you come in! Do any of our longtime LKT anglers recognize this trophy or remember what year it was awarded?🤔

Take a close look and drop your best guess in the comments! We’d love to solve this little piece of LKT history together!
