Director of Individual Giving for New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy in Miami Beach, Liz Platt is a nonprofit fundraising professional passionate about advancing the arts and connecting donors to causes that matter. She specializes in building meaningful relationships and creating philanthropic opportunities that support arts education and community initiatives.
With extensive experience in advancement for the arts, Liz has contributed her fundraising expertise to leading organizations, including Pérez Art Museum Miami, University of Rochester Memorial Art Gallery, and Strong Memorial Hospital, helping to grow donor support and strengthen community engagement.
Liz is actively involved in the Junior League of Miami, advancing women’s leadership through volunteer action, and serves as a mentor with the Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship Program, empowering at-risk high school girls to achieve their potential.
A summa cm laude graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a concentration in fine art, Liz is also an accomplished artist specializing in sculptural and functional ceramics. In her free time, she supports local philanthropic initiatives, particularly in the arts, animal conservation and welfare, and environmental causes.
