C South Miami K-8 Double C Magnet Program consists of the Computer Art Technology (C@T) and the Culturally Inspired Education (CIE) programs.

The aim of The Culturally Inspired Education program is to enable students to explore, understand, and value visual art expressions from cultures around the world. This aim is best achieved by enabling the students to create works of art inspired by the study of these cultures. CAT mixes visual art, design, and photography basics with computer applications for new ways to learn about and create ar

t. At CAT students learn to use hardware and software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Painter. It is a part of the Double C Magnet program that has now combined CAT and CIE. Digital Imaging combined with drawing and painting skills help bring original art works to life.
