We’re grateful to the Tristarr Lifelong Learning Fund at the Coral Gables Community Foundation for supporting LEAP’s 2025 Incarcerated Women’s Chance for Change Initiative and believing in the power of education to create opportunity at every stage of life.

Each year, 75 women in their final year of incarceration participate in LEAP’s intensive five-month program, completing more than 250 hours of education and training in employment readiness, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, trauma recovery, and other essential skills for successful reentry.

Participants also receive individualized guidance and support from instructors and mentors throughout the program, helping them put what they learn into practice as they prepare for what comes next.

More than 450 women have graduated from LEAP’s in-prison program, and support like this makes our work possible.

Thank you, Tristarr Lifelong Learning Fund at the Coral Gables Community Foundation, for helping women build knowledge, skills, confidence, and new possibilities for their futures. 💫

For our LEAP graduates, having someone see beyond the past and believe in the woman they’re becoming can make all the difference. This is what second chances look like being seen, supported, and reminded that your future still matters. 🦋
