💛 New Arrival 💛

This stunning 3 year old Lutino Fischers Lovebird is absolutely incredibly gorgeous & super friendly too!!

She arrived last night via Aiden, our Bird taxi driver, lol.

Unfortunately, her mom was an elderly woman who could no longer care for her and wanted her to have a better life situation .
We would love to find her a home if possibly another lovebird so that she will have a friend all of her own.

👻 Happy Halloween 🎃 Today everyone … 👿

This beautiful little juvenile Lutino Cockatiel is wishing everyone a wonderful beautiful day today.
We are getting ready to do our walk-through video of all the birds and critters that will be here tomorrow for our open visitation day from 11:00-3:00.

We hope to see everyone here to meet this little beauty named “Buffy” (Vampire Slayer) & all of her friends, and hope you find the best match for you and your family…....

💛 Our two newest Amazon arrivals from the very bad living situation are doing sooooo great & now have names…. 👏

* Meet “Caden” ( spirit of battle & friend/companion) - Blue Fronted Amazon
& “Callen” ( powerful in battle & a strong warrior) - Double Yellow Headed Amazon

In just a few days, they look like entirely different birds. They are clean they are relaxed. They are eating. They are happy. They are still stressed, of course and still scared of people, but that will come with time. They are preaching and they have started to show a little bit of interest in toys.
We are so excited for their futures now. 🙏

We love our two warriors 🫶

“Mikey” here to see if anyone may be able to help out here at the rescue tomorrow or Friday??? 🧹
We are once again shorthanded on volunteers and could use one person tomorrow and two people on Friday if possible. It’s a lot of work taking care of me and all of my friends here and we really need the extra help sometimes. 🙏
If you are able to come tomorrow or Friday please send a message, we would be very, very thankful. 😌
We start at 9:30 and usually only takes a couple of hours if we have enough people.

📣 What a difference two days make!!

Check out little “Ducky”.
This is the beautiful little yellow Budgie that was found a few days ago & brought to us obviously suffering with scaly mites.
Although it looks really bad and it’s very uncomfortable for the birds, it is pretty easy to treat & will usually clear up pretty quickly with treatment.
In just two days look at the difference and how much better she already looks.
I’m sure feeling much better as well. 😇
This bird will be getting adopted by the person who found her, if no owner comes forward. Welcome to a much better life little “Ducky”.🐥

The perfect month for these little Parakeets to be adopted, as November is “Budgie Appreciation Month” 🙏

🧊 “Ice” 🧊

This absolutely stunning Parakeet arrived last night hoping to make some new friends. Unfortunately, he lost his mate and has been very lonely ever since. He seems to be very happy here and chirping away this morning being around the other birds again. I think the Parakeets know that it is “Budgie Appreciation Month” as we seem to be getting calls for them every day lately.

Don’t forget, we have our open visitation and adoption day today from 11:00-3:00.

Come check out the gorgeous “Ice”, his beauty might just freeze 🥶 you.

✨ Anyone need some extra “Tinsel” for their Christmas Tree this year? 🎄

Check out this absolutely adorable and super friendly little Olive 🫒 Peach 🍑 Faced
Lovebird.
He is the cutest little thing and very, very sweet. He came in with his parents, but they were picking on him so he has been separated from them for a very long time. He is seven years old & was living in a very tiny little cage. I’m sure he was getting out and getting handled because he is so very friendly with everyone.
He does have one leg that is slightly spayed, but doesn’t seem to cause any issues whatsoever. When I asked the owner about it, he didn’t even know that the bird had a displayed leg . 🤷‍♀️

They are super cute, colorful, fun loving birds that are very active and playful. Sometimes they do well with others sometimes they don’t. He would make a nice addition, possibly to another one that you might have at home or he could be a nice little companion, bird for yourself.

# 2 “Holiday 🍹 Cockatiel” is this gorgeous dark grey pearl juvenile named “Addie”.
She arrived a few weeks ago from the Wildlife Center. She was a little thin, somewhat dehydrated, very scared, but not a mean bird at all.
She is a juvenile approximately nine months old we are estimating. We have been working with her for handling and she’s not bad at all. She will definitely need more work with handling skills and learning how to step up. She is by herself right now, but went out in the aviary with the other Cockatiels, she definitely likes the company of them.

Theyafe super super sweet & easy going. completely litter box trained, they aren’t the cleanest and neat bunnies ever. They are easy to handle, love attention, and are easy to brush and groom.
