This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. At Operation Injured Soldiers, we remember their courage, dedication, and the legacy they left behind.

Let’s take a moment to reflect on their service and support the veterans and families who continue to carry their memory forward.

We are committed to standing with our injured soldiers every day, because their sacrifice deserves our respect and care.

Update: Gas Stations to which Power has Been Restored

In speaking with the Michigan Petroleum Association, it is my understanding that power has recently been restored to the following gas stations.

Bayview
Cedarville
Diamond Point
Drummond Island
Grayling
Hubbard Lake
Long Rapids
Mackinaw City
Mio
Onanway EZ
Onaway Shell
Ossineke
Petoskey EZ
Petoskey Louie's
Petoskey South
Posen
St. Ignace Bridgeview
St. Ignace Downtown
St. Ignace Truckstop
Vanderbilt
Ga***rd West

It is my further understanding, in speaking with representatives of Consumers Energy this morning, that a large generator is in route, from downstate to Cheboygan, to restore power to the fuel terminal there. Once it is back in operation, this will significantly reduce the distance that fuel trucks have to travel to pick-up fuel for delivery to those stations that have power, but may be low or out of fuel.

NOTE:
If you are planning venture out to fill-up your tank, you should try to confirm that the location to which your are heading is open and has gas/diesel available.

Another great weekend!!!

Feb 8. Yesterday we had our annual Veteran's Ride for the Brave Hearts Lodge in Pellston, MI. It was great seeing them here again and they brought a couple more people this year. One couple were experiencing something new and they had a blast. They had lunch here and then went out on the trails on the Hiawatha Club to Cranberry Lodge, which had great trails. They plan on doing this again next year.
