This is a great reminder of our purpose.

Don't go through the puddle. You're gonna get your shoes full of mud. You're gonna ruin that shirt. That mud is gonna ruin my car. Do you know how much it costs to fix that bike?

Do ya remember what it was like to be a kid? It's messy. How can it not be? If you see a mud puddle... of course you wanna jump in it. Part of learning what you should do is doing stuff ya shouldn't have done and learning from it. Personal growth isn't linear. It's a journey full of ups-and-downs.

One of the hardest parts of working with kids and raising them is realizing we have to let them go. They need to explore. They have to get dirty and make mistakes. Better to do it now while they are with us than to send em' into the world unprepared.
