🌲 Keep the calls coming on the reconciliation bill -- public pressure is working!

At the same time, the Forest Service just announced plans to scrap the 2001 Roadless Rule, removing protections from 80,000+ acres (23% of our local National Forest), including Echo Lakes, Luther Pass, Freel Peak, and parts of the Tahoe Rim Trail. 🗣️ Feel weird calling your reps? You’re not the only one, but it works.
Leave a quick message, speak from the heart, and help protect public lands. Try this:

“Hi, my name is [Your Name], and I live in [City, State]. I’m calling to ask [Senator / Representative] to oppose any version of the budget reconciliation bill that includes selling off federal public lands. Our public lands should stay public for everyone, now and in the future.”

If you reach voicemail, leave the same message. It still gets counted.

Thanks for stepping up—your voice matters! 🌎💚
