Last meeting, 3 freshman students (Hafsah Raja, Jana Alijallad, and Ryan Purdum) presented their sustainable initiative “Project Bookshelf.” This initiative’s focal point is Eco-Bricks—which involves using plastic bottles to stuff with microplastics and other non-biodegradables. This simple way to create change in our environment, especially on campus, will hopefully create progress in the future with your help. Save your plastic bottles!! They can act as a trash can with your microplastics! 🌎
