Congratulations to the U13 Stompers on their SRI Cup Championship! 🏆 After defeating two NECSL teams along the way, this group showed what can be accomplished through hard work, commitment, and playing for each other. What a season for these Tigers! 🔥🐯

Some of our SCYSC 2017 Tiger girls joined forces with players from OSNK to create a local elite team and compete in the NECSL, and the results were impressive: an undefeated 8-0 season, 41 goals scored, and just 6 conceded.

Beyond the numbers, this team was defined by teamwork, creativity, and relentless effort. We’re proud of how these players came together and represented our local soccer community throughout the season.

Congratulations to the players and coaches on an outstanding season. As one of SCYSC’s first teams to compete in the NECSL this year, they set the bar high and showed what’s possible when local players come together to compete at a high level. The future is bright, and we’re excited to continue creating opportunities like this for players in our community.

SCYSC 2026/27 Competitive Tryouts are just around the corner!

📍 Tuckertown Park, South Kingstown
📅 May 18–21, 2026
👦👧 Boys & Girls | Ages U7–U14+

Whether your player is new to competitive soccer or returning for another season, SCYSC provides a positive, challenging environment where players can develop locally with their friends and compete at a higher level — all while keeping costs affordable.

A few important notes for families:

✔️ ALL players interested in competitive soccer next season should register for tryouts - Registration is FREE and does NOT commit your player to participating next season
✔️ Competitive (Super Liga) and Premier (NECSL) level opportunities
✔️ US Soccer is transitioning nationwide to a school-year age grouping calendar beginning with the 2026/27 season - Updated age group information and full tryout schedules are available online
✔️ We are not currently holding a tryout for U15+ age groups, but please register your interest!

🚀We’re also excited to continue growing our Girls NECSL Academy program for 2026/27! Additional open tryout registration is available for:

⭐ U10 Girls NECSL Academy (rising 3rd & 4th graders)
⭐ NEW U8 Development Group (rising 1st & 2nd graders)

This supplemental program allows girls from across southern RI to access additional training and games while still playing with their town teams. All southern RI towns are welcome!
