“My husband’s name is Martin, and my name is Abigail. I am speaking the truth. In a world where people would not even give $1 dollar, the Lord has blessed us with two food packages through this ministry.

We are deeply thankful. There was a time when we didn’t even have ten cents to get by, but the Lord chose to provide for us in this wonderful way. Receiving these two food packages has been a great blessing to our family.

Through Jesus, our Pastors, who are here with us, the Lord appointed this provision to reach us. We now have renewed strength, and our faith has grown even stronger."

Praises from Venezuela:

Pastor Felipe and Anahis found a home to purchase.

The Lord led them to a house for sale, and the owners dropped the price considerably so they were able to purchase it. Our local leaders raised extra funds and were able to purchase a washer, gas range, 2 AC units and a TV for them.

Praise GOD for this tremendous blessing!!!

"Severe flooding is currently affecting many parts of the country. I am relieved to share that all the mothers across these locations are safe and secure by God's grace. The pastors and the workers are very helpful to the mothers. Please continue to pray for Sri Lanka."

I wonder if he paused – this man who would become our father, this patriarch with the slightly aged gait who’d already lost a son.

Abraham, called upon by God to give up his true son – the son of the promise – even after Ishmael had been banished to the wilderness: did he pause before packing up and heading out?

I wonder this even as I pause, seated here in the guest room of Voice of the Martyrs Canada’s CEO. I’ve flown here to speak at the VOMC retreat about my trip to India. Meanwhile, earlier this year, we’d discussed how VOMC could rent out our dorms and guesthouses in Uganda to provide safe haven for persecuted believers and a place for pastors to learn. The rent would help us immensely; all this time we’d been building not knowing for whom, or why, simply that God wanted us to...
