✨ VIRASAT at SLC Library Diwali Event! ✨

Virasat had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Salt Lake City Library Diwali celebration on December 6th, organized by ICC. It was an amazing experience joining hands with other regional groups and coming together as one vibrant community.

We were proud to showcase India’s diverse and colorful culture — from traditions and art to the spirit of togetherness that Diwali represents. 🌟🇮🇳

Utah Marathi Mandal has taken a step to help families affected by the recent floods. Please read below and join us in contributing to this important cause.

As you all know Maharashtra has been severely impacted by recent floods.

The Bruhan Maharashtra Mandal of North America- बृहन्महाराष्ट्र मंडळ has launched a Marathwada Flood Relief Fund to support families back home.

Utah Marathi Mandal is supporting the campaign and will be contributing $501 towards this cause .

We are calling in our Utah friends and family members to join UMM to help collect donations toward this cause.

All collected funds will be sent to BMM on November 9th.

Every dollar counts — let’s show the strength of our community, our compassion, and our unity.

A heartfelt Thank You to all the amazing volunteers who helped make the Virasat stall at ICC Mela 2025 - VIRASAT Food stall such a huge success! 🙌 Early in the morning, Rohan Tandel, Sharva Kant, Saili Thakur and were there at 7 AM to set up the tent, stove, and tables, while Rohan Tandel and Saili Thakur even pitched in the night before to run errands and buy groceries. Rai's delicious aloo tikki was a massive hit, and Mittal & 's wonderful paan sold out in no time! Special thanks to Shilpi Verma, who encouraged us to take part in this event and worked tirelessly at the stall, preparing aloo tikki and paani puri masala, alongside Saili Thakur Celebrations with Meeta and , who were also busy with the Acai bowls. Rohan Tandel and Sharva Kant were constantly on the move — grabbing ice, fixing electricity, chopping onions, and even making veg puffs with Shilpi Verma, while Saili Thakur and Sharva Kant kept the fryers running for endless paani puris and tikkis along with Rai . Goel did a fantastic job managing the till, with Shamit Nakra stepping up to support and hold the fort. @ Munawar helped with chopping onions and fixing plates and making sure everything was running smooth in the background., Kashyap made sure we had enough pani puri glasses, Bhardwaj pitched in with sieving to make more paani puri water. At crunch time, Mittal, Saili Thakur , Shilpi Verma, Rai, Munawar , Rohan Tandel, Sharva Kant, and Celebrations with Meeta all jumped in to prepare plates, take orders, and ensure everything ran smoothly.

✨ **All of you came together in true team spirit, making this event a success to raise funds for the flood relief cause in India.** ✨

This was a truly collaborative and successful event, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without your support, teamwork, and energy. You all absolutely rocked it — kudos to each one of you! 🌟💪
