For a moment, the search for answers gave way to remembering the life at the center of it all. 🖤

Family, friends, and supporters gathered in Mississippi to honor 18-year-old Nolan Wells, remembering a young man of deep faith whose kindness, quiet humor, and love for those around him left a lasting impact.

As his parents shared intimate memories of the son they knew and loved, Rev. Al Sharpton called for truth without prejudgment and announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Tyler Perry matched the offer, bringing the total reward to $100,000, while attorney Ben Crump renewed his call for transparency as the investigation into Nolan’s death continues.

“We will continue to fight for you,” Nolan’s mother, Christine Wonsley, promised as she asked those gathered to keep saying his name and carrying his light forward.

Read more about how Nolan’s life was honored and the family’s continued search for answers in the comments.
