We are currently working with a survivor who was recently reunited with her dog! The very dog she survived with on the streets.

We are not a rescue… we exist to foster the relationship women in and out of the game have with their pets but with this work theres really no way to not be involved in rescue.

While she was out on a walk with her dog she rescued this sweet pup.. left alone at the dog bark with a note☹️

We are currently seeking a foster… so this baby does not have to go to boarding.

Relationship with women in the game matters. Meet Lisa… straight out of the game 🤘🏻 She completed treatment and now has her own place and is working . We worked with her in the game and now she’s in our aftercare program.

She’s the one that took care of Chucky at the motel… often times when women decide to leave the game they have to part with the only loyalty they had out there … and hers was Chucky. We’ve worked closely together and she never forgot about him and reported that Chucky was picked up. Never underestimate the heart of a woman surviving the game.

Thank you to the animal welfare community for walking along side in this work.

Project Girls K9’s & Renegades exists to foster the relationship women have with their K9 Defenders in and out of the game. There is life beyond the chaos. It’s not always easy but well worth building relationship with women right in the middle of the mess.

The hobby airport area is one of the most underserved areas in District I. By connecting with community efforts Project Girls K9’s & Renegades continues to advocate for those affected by exploitation, addiction and violence that has plagued the area for decades.

Shout out to Lisa!! She has successfully been placed into Santa Maria Hostel to start her new journey in recovery.

This is Chucky… a dog born at the Motel that she has been caring for right in the middle of her trauma and addiction.

We will be onsite this week to picj Chucky up! So thankful for our partnerships with the animal welfare community and Emily Parsons Walker for providing a spot for him !
