AAPOA was proud to serve the Asian community at the VACA Alief International Health Fair, attended by Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher and Harris County Commissioner Lesley Briones.

Our members educated attendees about common crimes, cybercrime, and scams targeting seniors, while encouraging them not to let fear prevent them from reporting crimes they witness.

AAPOA members provided Vietnamese-language assistance to help physicians communicate health and wellness information to Vietnamese-speaking seniors.

We appreciate the opportunity to help build a safer, healthier, and more connected community!

🌪️ Hurricane Season Is Here—Are You Ready?

AAPOA was honored to join the Houston Police Department, the Houston Office of Emergency Management (OEM), and VIETV Radio Network to discuss hurricane preparedness and share important safety tips with our community.

Being prepared before a storm can help protect you, your family, and your property. Now is the time to review your emergency plan, gather essential supplies, and stay informed through trusted local resources.

AAPOA is proud to support community education and partnerships that help keep our neighborhoods informed, prepared, and resilient.
