She is the CEO and Principal Consultant of J & P Consulting Group LLC, where she empowers minority entrepreneurs, small businesses, and startups—especially those in underserved and economically disadvantaged communities. r bold yet compassionate leadership, Dr. Jordan delivers strategic guidance that fuels economic growth and sustainable community development. She also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of J & P National Youth Empowerment Network, NFP, a nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for at-risk youth. Through mentorship, workforce development, and life skills training, she equips young people with the tools they need to succeed personally and professionally. Dr. Jordan’s unwavering commitment to equity is reflected in her extensive pro bono work, where she supports returning citizens, veterans, and minority-owned businesses in launching and growing sustainable ventures. In February 2025, Dr. Jordan will partner with Chief Dr. Quinton Tamba Taylor De’Alexander to launch the Business Incubator: A Hub for Economic Growth in Liberia. This weeklong initiative, set to debut during Black History Month, will train and mentor young Liberians in entrepreneurship, with a focus on agriculture, creative services, technology, and retail. Through this initiative, Dr. Jordan aims to build capacity, foster innovation, and drive generational change in Monrovia and beyond. Her leadership has earned widespread recognition. In 2024, she received the Community Service Award from the Chicago Chapter of Charms, Inc. In 2025, she was named a Willie’s Warriors Leadership Initiative Fellow by the Chicago Foundation for Women and selected as a 2025 Honoree for the “We Dream in Color” Humanitarian & Unity Celebration, to be held July 19 at the DuSable Black History Museum. Dr. Jordan has also been appointed Vice Chair of the Illinois Small Business Development Centers Advisory Board, where she helps shape statewide small business strategy. On June 19, 2025, she will be honored with the Black Girls Rock Award at the prestigious Black Girls Golden Ticket Ceremony in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to her consulting and nonprofit leadership, Dr. Jordan is an accomplished author. Her 2017 book, Finding Hubby Love & Companionship: A Woman’s Guide to Dating and Marriage After 50, offers practical wisdom and inspiration for women navigating love and relationships later in life. Dr. Jordan serves on several influential boards, including the NSBA Leadership Council, the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services CWEL Board, and the South Holland Business Association, where she continues to champion small business, family support systems, and community-led change. Academically, she holds a Master of Science in Human Services Administration, dual Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Christian Counseling, and an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism.
