We would like to send out a special congratulations to our very own Coach Tony. Good luck 🍀 to you at Governors State University Coach. Congrats to our Coach Dani as well who joins him as an assistant coach there. We are grateful to have you as our Club Director Coach Tony and appreciate all you do for Soccer in the South Suburbs!! Today, we say farewell to Coach Tony — a man who gave so much more than just his time to SSC. Since 2000, he poured his heart into the men’s soccer program, and beginning in 2017, he did the same for the women’s team. But what he built here goes far beyond the game.
Coach Tony didn’t just coach — he changed lives.
Over 1,000 student-athletes have walked through this program during his time, and every single one of them leaves with something more than just memories of the field. They leave with lessons, confidence, discipline, and a sense of belonging that only he could create.
He was there for the big wins, the tough losses, and all the moments in between — always believing, always pushing, always caring. He created a family, a culture, and countless lifelong memories that will stay with us forever.
It’s impossible to fully put into words what he means to this community. His impact will be felt for generations, in every player who steps onto the field and in every life he helped shape.
Thank you, Coach Tony, for your passion, your heart, and everything you’ve given to SSC. Wishing you nothing but the best in your next chapter.
