It has been a long and very busy week. I found myself often having to remind myself to be a blessing to someone. I gave the people who does the snow an 20 since they had to shovel by hand. In Ultra, The cashier asked me if I wanted to make a donation to the heart Association. Instead of the one dollar donation, I gave five dollars. She was ecstatic that she sold her first five dollar Pledge. It is the little things that count.

Yesterday marked the first day on the "Be a Blessing for 30 Days" Pledge. With the weather being so bad you had to be creative if you didn't want to venture out into the cold snowy weather. My first "Blessing" was to call a friend that had not spoken to in a while. He is recovering from a stroke. He was glad to hear from me. Praying for a swift and full recovery LV.

Today marks the second year that we are doing our "Be a Blessing a For 30 Days" Pledge. Last year was very successful we had over 100 people take to play it. It was very enlightening and inspiring to read all of the various deeds that were bestowed upon people, the familiar as well as to strangers. Join the event today and the official "30 Days of Blessings" will start on February 1, and will continue through Black history month and the first two days in March. Feel free to look at some of last years posts.

Can't believe it's already been a year since we did the "Be a Blessing for 30 Days" Pledge in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday. With today being his actual birthday, I want to announce that we will be doing "The Pledge"again this year with full participation of Seton Academy. Watch for posts. We will officially post on Monday January 19, 2015. Take a look at some of the previous posts. It was very inspiring. You can join "The Pledge" starting Monday and Blessings can officially began February 1 and continue throughout Black history month through March 2. (You can feel free to start your blessings anytime)
