The ReadUp Summer Literacy Program, presented by Da Book Joint, Tipoff, and Reggio's Pizza, brought together three childhood joys—reading, fun, and pizza! Each month (Jun-Aug), students in K-12th grade were invited to read at least 3 books to receive a free personal pan pizza and attend meetups. The meetups were a grand festivity, bringing everyone together for a memorable gathering with food, games, prizes, books, local authors, and an opportunity to meet other young book lovers! This program truly showed young readers that literacy is worth celebrating🎉.

Our story times are interactive read-alouds where children are introduced to stories that empower and inspire them. We invite local authors to come and share their books to uplift the next generation. Plus, general admission is free! This is our last month for our Read Up Family Fun Night at Reggio’s Pizza! And we are doing it big this month! We are turning up the prizes and setting a goal for ourselves to engage our largest group of young readers yet!

Join us August 28th at 5PM to enjoy an evening full of fun, pizza, books, and community. We will have a contest for kids who read the most books and also invite them to share their best practices with the group.

This month is crucial. So make sure you’re filling out the form online, all kids must read 3 books to qualify for free pizza. Library and bookstore receipts are mandatory. More info on our official site.
