✨Our 2nd Birthday Blessing Kit delivery!✨

Today, we had the pleasure of delivering Birthday Blessing Kits to The Bread Box Food Pantry in South Hill, where they will be shared with families in our community.

We were so grateful to meet with Amber Thomas, President of The Bread Box, and learn more about the many ways they serve others. In addition to their food pantry, The Bread Box provides homebound food care for individuals who are unable to travel to the pantry and offers holistic support through their CARE Program, connecting clients with other resources to help meet their needs.

It’s a blessing to see the love and generosity behind our Birthday Blessing Kit project continuing to make its way to families and children in our community.

We are so thankful for organizations like The Bread Box that find ways to care for and support their neighbors.

More deliveries are still to come, and we’re grateful to share this journey with you!

Serving our community with love — from our family to yours!❤️

Last week Ms. Strouth and Mrs. Williford 9th grade Health class hosted a food drive while learning about nutrition. Part of the lesson was for students to learn how to read the nutrition label correctly. Each student had to bring at least one non-perishable food item to complete a project about the nutrition label. With our food drive drive we were able to donate 2 full boxes to food pantries in Chase City, Clarksville, and South Hill.

We want to say Thank you to this young man. Andrew has volunteered his time with us for 8 years. He started with his youth group when he was in elementary school and now into his young adulthood. Today was his last Saturday volunteering with us due to getting an amazing job opportunity that will be scheduling him on Saturdays. We are very proud of him and are praying all of God's blessings over him. We will miss him. We were able to celebrate him with breakfast for the volunteers he has worked so closely with over the years. Thank you Andrew for your heart to serve and dedication.
