To all of my students,
I want you to know how disappointed I am that we didn’t get to finish the end of this school year together. I have missed each one of you greatly! For many of the past weeks, I found myself almost at a loss because I wasn’t where I was supposed to be, doing what I needed to do, and that is being with you! I wish you a very relaxing and safe summer and I look forward to seeing each of your smiling faces next year!
However, for my 5th graders, I am sad to see you go because you are leaving for new and exciting adventures at the middle school and I know that I lost what little time at the end of the year that we had left and that I can’t get that time back with you. Therefore, I wish each of you the best of luck. I encourage you to make good decisions, work hard, and be KIND to others! Be the best student and person you can be. Never doubt your abilities and what you can do. We were all given different talents and personalities and that’s a good thing! You are capable! You can be brilliant! Therefore, never allow your dreams to get too far away from you! Keep your head held high through the tough times and always be ready to help someone in need. Look for the good qualities in others. And please remember that you will always be special to me. Have a fun and safe summer!
