Due to some cancellations we do have a couple spots open in this ATV class
There’s still time to get the online portion done and sign up for June 29th

South Haven Sportsmen's Club is having a ATV class on Sunday June 29th at 12:00 PM.
Students need to be 10 years old at the time of the class.
Class size is limited to 30 students.
Student must complete the on line version of the course before coming to this class. (See the DNR Web site)
You must supply your own ATV for the road test.
ATV must pass safety inspection and the student has to fit the ATV.
Student must be able to stand on the foot placement area and clear seat by 1 inch while gripping the handlebar grips.
Class will be held at the South Haven City hall, 521 Oak Ave south.
Road test will be held at Wright County swappers meet after the classroom session at the hall.

Now that the dust has settled and we a rested up a bit I thought it would be appropriate shout out a huge thank you to those of you that attended our fish fry Friday night. As usual I witnessed comradery, friends that get together once a year, people and the community enjoying themselves.
We think we had a record year with the unofficial count somewhere in the area of 1300 served! We did run out of a few things but did not run out of fish.
I must make it clear that this event would not be possible without the South Haven Fire Department allowing us to use their building. Make sure you support this fire dept. and others. Their annual Smelt fry is May 3rd at 4:30 please attend and support.
I can't go on without mentioning Fire department members that came and moved trucks opened doors and pitched in and helped. Jason Lueders, Chris Olsen, and Dustin Nicka Thanks guys!!!!!
Watkins Lions Club thank you so much for suppling refreshments! This has become a perfect example of how originations can work together and get things accomplished! Here's to new friends.
Local vendors that pitched in Kim-built gas, Petty bros meat market and Kevin from Wright County Swappers.
Last but not least! Volunteers that helped at the fry!

First Friday in April, all roads lead to South Haven!!!!!

The South Haven Sportsmen's Club will be hosting their spring youth fi****ms safety classes in April at the;
South Haven City Hall.
521 Oak Ave south.
South Haven MN 55382

The Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, start at 6PM and are generally done at 8 but could run as late as 8:30.
Dates are as follows:
April 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd 24th, with field day being on Saturday the 26th.
Students must be 11 years of age by the start of the first class. and must be able to attend all the classes.
The Field day is for students that attend a in person class only. It is not for on line students.
Class is limited to 25 students.
