The equipment has been packed away, the lights dimmed, and now begins the long process of review.
Inside those historic walls, our team utilized multiple forms of investigative technology including EMF detectors, REM pods, voice recorders, laser grids, dowsing rods, motion sensors, and environmental monitoring — carefully documenting every response, fluctuation, and unexplained moment encountered throughout the night.
We’re often asked about the meaning behind the name Wiccan Paranormal Investigations. For us, it is not about theatrics, fear, or forcing belief onto anyone. It represents respect — for energy, history, nature, intuition, and the unseen remnants people may leave behind.
Our team comes from different backgrounds, beliefs, and strengths. Some approach investigations through technology and research. Others are deeply intuitive or sensitive to environmental and energetic shifts. Together, those perspectives create balance.
We also recognize the influence of elemental energy within these historic locations — the way water, earth, air, fire, time, and human emotion seem to leave impressions behind long after a place has fallen silent. Especially in a harbor town shaped by Lake Michigan’s power and history, there is a weight to the atmosphere that cannot always be explained away so easily.
In this line of work, people often assume paranormal investigators arrive to provoke or disrupt what may remain. But our purpose has always been the opposite. We come to respectfully separate legend from truth while honoring the history, the stories, and any spirits who may still quietly exist within these spaces.
Some moments felt subtle.
Others made the entire room stand still.
