Thank you to those who fished in the 40th Annual Merle Morris Tournament. We had 17 boats participate.

The Merle Morris trophy went home with Chris Morris.

Total Weight:
1st place- Reel Buff with 48.10 lbs
2nd place- Big Gills with 41.85 lbs
3rd place- Hot Mess with 40.10 lbs

Big King:
1st place- Bottom Line, 14.60 lb
2nd place- Big Gills, 14.20 lb
3rd place- Silver King, 13.35 lb

Big Lake Trout:
1st place- Mega Fish, 14.50 lb
2nd place- Reel Buff, 7.90 lb
3rd place- HookUp, 7.85 lb

Big Steelhead:
1st place- Ty One On, 7.50 lb

There is one more GIANT thank you in order and it’s an important one!

The South Haven Steelheaders and South Haven Steelheaders Sport Fishing Association have a group of AMAZING volunteers. If you fished this weekend, you undoubtedly saw many of them running circles to make these events successful from Friday-Sunday!

🔹Thank you to the entire Pro Am Committee who meet every month to meticulously plan and coordinate this event.
🔹Thank you to the faithful volunteers who we count on at the weigh in to weigh and sort fish and to keep track of point standings, fish weights and payouts.
🔹Thank you to the tireless fish cleaning crew who work their tales off behind the scenes to clean all our donated fish for the Fish Boil in August.
🔹Thank you to the guys running the fish to the cleaning station; including the Rams football team who help with our heavy coolers!
🔹Thank you to our boat catchers, those who sell t-shirts and raffle tickets and take pictures and videos at our events.
🔹Thank you to those who help with all the details from registration to membership, advertising to social media. You are all MVP’s and we couldn’t do this without you.
