Just wanted to send a reminder out to everyone that our well is having some maintenance done on Tuesday 06/13/23 around 8:30. The water will be off for roughly 4 hours if everything goes well. Remember to run an outside faucet until the water appears clear once the water is turned back on.

Grass Lake Dam elevation was 993.34 (29 datum) before last night's rain. Checking in with neighbors from Kimball area, the upstream part of the 100,232 acres of land that drains into Clearwater Lake, show 0.75 inches of rain overnight. 0.8 inches by Lake Marie, and 1.2 inches southeast of Annandale.

NOAA 5 day prediction was between 1 and 1.5 inches across the District Monday through Friday. Some rainfall generally soaks into the ground, or fills up lakes and wetlands upstream before it makes it to Clearwater Lake, but if you've driven around, you know how high the water is everywhere. So, we expect more of this rainfall to make it Clearwater Lake sooner.

If 1/4 inch of the rainfall runs off we might expect Clearwater Lake to rise by 0.7 feet.

If 1/2 inch runs off we would expect Clearwater Lake to rise by 1.3 feet.

Not great news. Check your sump pumps.

We will be flushing the Water System the week of October 10th. We will nail down a date and time once the weather forecast comes out.

Special thanks goes out to Bill Donovan for the use of his truck and trailer and for helping fix the boat ramp and the rough washout at the dam lot yesterday! We dumped two yards of Class 2 then packed it down. Please, don't spin your tires on the boat ramp. Thanks!

The Association and Water bill were mailed today. The due date is 4/1/22. Be sure to cut off the top portion of the bill and return it with your payment. Thank you! Spring has to be around the corner, doesn’t it?

Just a heads up since we also enjoy Clearwater Lake and their water flows into ours.

We will be flushing our water mains on Tuesday, 10/13 at 10am. It should take an hour or less. We will send out an email notification and comment to this post when done. You will experience some low water pressure. Please do not wash clothes during this time. Be sure to flush your home's water lines by running an outside faucet until the water runs clear. If you have an in-house water filter, be sure to check it for sediment. Once done, it may take up to an hour to get the water pressure back to normal.
