Friends of Patton Park is an all-volunteer group of residents from Hamilton and Wenham dedicated to improving Patton Park and its facilities for the benefit of the community. WHEN WILL THE NEW PLAYGROUND BE INSTALLED? Fall 2012 (pending successful fundraiser). HOW WILL THE PLAYGROUND BE FUNDED? Friends of Patton Park is raising $150,000 for the new playground through private funding from residents
and organizations, along with allocations already contributed from the Hamilton-Wenham Recreation Department and the Town of Hamilton. WHAT WILL THE NEW PLAYGROUND INCLUDE?
-Benches and picnic tables for all to enjoy
-Landscaping, including paths and plantings
-Rocking, spinning and stand-alone climbing equipment
-A toddler area with sand play, climbers, slides and interactive equipment
-An area for children 5 and up that includes a rope climbing structure and a tree house with slides and climbers
-Equipment and pathways that are ADA compliant
WAYS TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT:
o BUY-A-BRICK FOR $100—personalized bricks will be laid to make a path through the park. o Make a donation today! Donations of $2,500 or more will be recognized on a plaque in the park.
