Congratulations to Coral May Grout '75 on her election as the national president of the American Legion Auxiliary!

Dr. Grout brings a lifetime of dedication to public service, education, and supporting veterans and military families to this role. Dr. Grout previously served as superintendent of schools in Acushnet, Massachusetts, and has held several national committee leadership positions within the ALA.

Mount Holyoke remembers Nancy Kissinger ’55, who died Aug. 20 at age 92. A history major at Mount Holyoke, Kissinger went on to build a life deeply engaged with foreign policy, public service and philanthropy. She taught history, pursued graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and worked with New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller on foreign policy and international affairs. Throughout her life, she remained engaged in civic and philanthropic work, serving organizations devoted to science, education, culture and animal welfare.
