County Commissioner candidate Soledad Laman and Edgewater Republicans council candidate Kris Tassev worked yesterday to clean up the Edgewater waterfront walking path.
Our candidates continue to be actively involved in community events because, for them, representing the Republican Party is about more than politics—it is about teamwork, service, and giving back to the community.
Today, putting political affiliations aside, Kris, a candidate for the Edgewater Borough Council, and Soledad, a candidate for Bergen County Commissioner, joined fellow residents in helping clean the Edgewater waterfront walkway. Their commitment is simple: to do everything they can to improve the town they call home.
During the event, one resident shared how proud he was to see Soledad representing Edgewater on a larger stage, noting that this is the first time the town has had the opportunity to be represented by a candidate seeking the office of Bergen County Commissioner. He expressed that having a local voice advocating for Edgewater at the county level is an important milestone for the community.
Service does not begin on Election Day—it begins with showing up, listening, and working alongside neighbors. That is exactly what our candidates are committed to doing every day.
