🐴 A Friendly Reminder About Miniature Therapy Horse Programs 🐴

As interest in miniature horse visits continues to grow across Southern Maine, we encourage facilities and organizations to carefully evaluate any program they invite into their space.

Therapy miniature horses require extensive training, including desensitization, handling in diverse environments, public manners, potty training, health screenings, and appropriate registration or certification through recognized organizations. Not every miniature horse is suited for therapy work, and safety should always be the highest priority.

🦄🐴At Impact Horse, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, horse welfare, and participant experience. Our registered therapy miniature horses undergo ongoing training and are selected specifically for this important work.

We encourage facilities to ask questions about training, experience, insurance, safety protocols, and credentials when considering any equine-assisted or miniature horse visitation program.

🎉🐴 Exciting News! Welcome to the Herd, Muffin!We are thrilled to officially welcome Muffin to the Impact Horse family!

🎀Muffin is a 8 year old miniature therapy horse in training and will be joining our community wellness programs and mobile therapy visits as she learns, grows, and gains experience alongside our incredible team.

Thankfully, she has a wonderful mentor. 💕 Toast is looking forward to showing Muffin the ropes, sharing his expertise, and helping her discover the joy of connecting with people through therapy horse visits.

Please join us in giving Muffin a warm welcome as she begins this exciting journey!
