Cherokee Nation Chief of Staff Dr. Corey Bunch recently attended a meeting of the National Johnson O'Malley Association (NJOMA) Board in Scottsdale, Arizona, where members began planning for the upcoming annual conference.

As part of its mission, the NJOMA Board serves as the elected voice and liaison to Congress for Johnson O’Malley (JOM) programs nationwide while supporting the development of specialized educational opportunities that help Native students succeed. Cherokee Nation remains committed to advocating for educational resources and opportunities that strengthen the future of our youth.

Cherokee National Treasure Robert Lewis’ wild and wonderful stories help imaginations soar. Join us at the Cherokee National Peace Pavilion for his latest performance this Wednesday, June 10, during “Stories on the Square!”

This event is free and open to the public. Lewis’ stories will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a fun cultural activity for all ages.
