Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember those lost to overdose, stand beside those grieving, and help break the stigma that too often keeps people from reaching out. 💜
BHI will be participating in both of these community events, and we warmly welcome you to attend with us:
📍 South Yarmouth Beach Memorial & Vigil
5:30 p.m. | Smugglers Beach
220 South St., South Yarmouth
An evening featuring an angel memorial, guest speakers, community resource tables, and Duffy Health Center’s REACH Mobile Unit. Bring a beach chair and, if you wish, a photo of your loved one.
📍 Falmouth Community Event
6–7:30 p.m. | Falmouth Village Green
Hosted by Duffy Health Center, this gathering offers space to remember those lost, reduce stigma, and connect with local substance use support resources.
Whether you are remembering someone, supporting a loved one, or simply showing up for your community, you are welcome. Together, we can honor every life and remind one another that no one has to face this alone.
