Appalachian Academy Appalachian Academy is an after-school-care program for students at South Charleston Middle School (SCMS)- a program of Pollen8, Inc.

Students receive homework assistance and tutoring from teachers at SCMS and a healthy meal prepared by Café Appalachia.

It’s that time of year again! Join us for a pie contest. All you have to do to win is like/follow our page, sign up for Kroger Plus and choose Pollen8, Inc. as your charity (please post a picture in the comments for proof of enrollment), and then tag a friend who will do the same. We will randomly choose a winner and you AND your friend will each win 2 pies for your enjoyment on Thanksgiving. The winners will be announced on Friday the 22nd during our Friendsgiving Friday celebration! Help us spread the word by sharing and support us by doing something you already do- grocery shopping!
