After much planning, we're thrilled to share that the new Kids-A-Part playroom at Northern State Correctional Facility is set up and ready to welcome families. Our team recently transformed the space with toys, games, books, art supplies, and plenty of care to create a warm, child-friendly environment where families can connect during visits.

I am honored to have been part of the start of the Parents as Teachers (PAT) program at Lund. As a PAT Parent Educator provider, I have the privilege in supporting families no matter where they are in their life through the program curriculum. Lund has expanded Post Permanency Services to Rutland County, and we're hiring a Post Adoption Case Manager.

We’re looking for a compassionate, collaborative Post Adoption Case Manager to support families formed through adoption, who live in Rutland County. This role provides individualized parent coaching, advocacy, education, home visits, support groups, and connections to adoption-competent providers and community resources, helping families build stability and resilience throughout their adoption journey.

This is a full-time (40 hours/week), benefits-eligible, home-based position that requires regular travel throughout Rutland County. The starting pay is $25/hour.

Lund’s clinical and post permanency teams recently had the opportunity to participate in a two-day Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training led by internationally recognized psychiatrist, trainer, and author Dr. Blaise Aguirre.

Professional development opportunities like this help our team continue building the knowledge and skills needed to support children, youth, and families with compassion, empathy, and evidence-based practices. We're grateful for opportunities to learn from leaders in the field and strengthen the care we provide every day.

We're grateful to partner with the Vermont Agency of Human Services to strengthen Vermont families so children can thrive.

AHS leadership met with Lund today to talk about the evolving needs of Vermont children and families and how we can continue strengthening our partnership. We’re grateful for Lund’s partnership and the important work they do to support Vermont children and families.

Trick-or-treat from decorated trunks, get your face painted, visit the South Burlington Fire & Rescue fire truck, grab a book from Children's Literacy Foundation, and enjoy lawn games for the whole family!

Looking for a fun way to connect with other families? Join our Richmond Playgroup at the Richmond Free Library on Wednesdays from 10 AM – 12 PM.

This free weekly playgroup is run by Shelly, an experienced family educator, and is a fun and casual way to meet other families. All families with children 0-5 are encouraged to attend!
